G'day everybody,

I'm new to all this. I recently purchased and had the WODE installed. The issue I have is that I can't rip any of my games to either USB or HDD.
I thought it may have been an issue with the USB port but the WODE recognises both USB & HDD when playing games from the ISO folder, and the games play fine.
It just won't recognise USB & HDD when I want to rip my games, the display will not change from 'No RW Disk'.

Please help.

WODE info - Boot Ver 1.01
WODE Ver 2.4B
FPGA Ver 2.00
HW Ver 1

Wii Ver 4.3e

You have not mentioned the format of your HDD... That is important.

As per the 2.4 release notes that comes with the download file 2.4B = Read Only Access to NTFS partitions / HDD. If you HDD is NTFS you must use 2.4A Read / Write.

What is the format of your HDD?

Also, ripping to NTFS takes about 1Hr 45min for as single layer full ISO. If you have the HBC installed and it is version 1.0.8 I recommend CleanRip as it will complete the rip in about 13min to 14min.

I had the exact same problem. Here's how I fixed mine...

Downgrade your "WODE" firmware to V1.0 then upgrade to 2.5B. I don't know why it works but it fixed it instantly.
