Softmod loaders usually load games from a directory called "wbfs" (WODE scans both iso and wbfs).

If one is being devloped for wii games... perhaps add support for ROMS for some of our favorite consoles as well,

NES, SNES, GB, GBA, GBC etc...

There is nothing being being developed here. Up until now it's all hypothetical (and might stay that way). For emulation best use the dedicated emulators available.

It's not really emulators we are looking for... its more or less an interface for the games... most of those emulators can be run via command line :) It wouldn't be that hard to make a cover flow for roms, I think if such a interface was ever made wode would go down in emulation history with alot of us retro gamers :)

I don't know a single emulator on Wii that has a command-line interface. Check http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_homebrew_emulators. I think this is the wrong thread here though - or I got you completely wrong ;).

A coverflow app is pointless without a emulator to run the rom they do not run native on either wii or wode but either way that would be more suited to discussion in the homebrew section unless your talking about running an open application on the wode hardware itself then here would be the place and starting another thread rather than hijack another would be more preferential.

But to stay on the new topic.

It's possible to make forwarders that work with existing Wii emulators and these .dol's packed within correctly built iso/wbfs would also work within existing wode loaders. Alternatively there are already coverflow emulator mods around for wii that could just as easily be run from wode and I also believe there was a post by giantpune (google PuneEmu and trucha bug) that also had information on building wode compatible emulator iso's.
