So I like the Wodeflow but honestly I am going to be sticking with the menu for now. There are pro's and con's for both and IMO the cons of the Wodeflow while small are enough for me to stick with the Wodemenu app for now. So why do you ask? Well here is my reasons.

1- Wodeflow upon hitting reset from in game it always goes to the system menu. Wodemenu does not and behaves like a real disc and the WODE should.

2- Wodeflow has one game that simply doesn't work when loaded from it. If loaded manually or from Wodemenu it boots just fine.

3- Wodeflow is a pain to change partitions unless I am missing something, going to the second to last page in the options to switch is a pain in the arse. Wodemenu is just a simple click away

4- Wodeflow doesn't have any custom forwarders or channels ATM but I am sure some will come soon enough. If I was better at photoshop I would make one myself. Till then if you use your head you can make Wiiflow forwarders execute the Wodeflow dol instead directly from the system menu.

That is the cons of the Wodeflow and now on to the cons of the Wodemenu

1- Doesn't support cheats natively but Gecko OS is simple enough to use as a replacement.

2- Can't make my own BGM for it like the Wodeflow

3- Doesn't support full box art, 3D is good for the one whole second I look at it but man the Wodeflow looks slick

4- Isn't skinnable but WTF I look at it for what a minute just to select a game. Even then I play mostly VC games honestly.

5- Must go to disc channel to launch game unlike the Wodeflow. It is almost the reason I went with the Wodeflow as well.
So yea those are my gripes about both and why I think I will stay with the old software till a new update comes out as the gripes I have about the Wodeflow are easily fixable unlike the Wodemenu which would need a total overhaul and would be a totally different app designed to compete with the Wodeflow but it wasn't made for that. It is just an easy to use app and not a loader per say. So what do you think? Which will you be using?

Well written and clearly expressed.

Have you tried the other loaders on WODEBREW yet?

+ wodemenu: 2 seconds to pick a title
- wodeflow: 10 seconds to find a title (if you have a few games)

my problem is that wodeflow, however long it takes to find a game, is so damn polished and looks so good i can't stop using it. it just looks "complete" i dont know how to describe it.
it just looks like something that should be there. really great work

LOL sad because I feel the same way WODE flow is polished,, I found my self loading a game on the WODE with the joystick (because i forgot to set the auto-load) then going in to WODE flow to select a game sometimes the same one already loaded .....

Its just so beautiful I can't stop using it.
Besides, it loads the title directly, so no need to reboot, and go to the disk channel.

It impresses everyone too.
