Also installed mine with some minor issues.
I had a problem with the wode when starting for the first time:
Only the backlight turned on, and nothing else happened....

Than I checked again, and saw that the allignment of the ribbon cables was not ok.

After fixing this, everything worked flawlessly..

Perfectly put together video. I will be following along with it once my Wode arrives.

Which of the cables was not aligned correctly? Was it the one in the base stand of the Wode?

How easy is the installation?

I watched the video and it looks easy but can someone who did the install first hand as an amature tell me what it's like.

How easy is it opening and closing the tabs without breaking them?

Thanks for posting the video! I'd never taken a Wii apart before, but with the help of this video, I installed the WODE correctly on the first try!

Only thing I messed up on was removing a couple of the wrong feet (easy enough to reattach) and messing up on removing a couple of the stickers covering the screws.

my first time too.as for opening the tabs i just used my fingers.also used a small flathead scredriver to remove the power cable.Just take your time bro...it took me an hour!but from some of the other peeps experiences i wanted to minimize the chance of failiure and take my time.making sure aall cables are fully inserted....no pinching of cables etc. Great video to ...followed it all the way!dont no what i would have done without it!both my 750 gig lacie ntfs werks and my 500 gig lacie in wbfs werk flawlessly!this is extremely fun and thanks for all the supports and wonderful product
