Wode Jukebox

Sorry if this has been covered already, but just thought it better to start fresh.

I have a Wii which got upgraded to the 4.3U firmware - it's not modified in any way.

I'd like to know if I can play a UK game on my US/Canada Wii if I buy a Wode. That's really all I want to do. Is it possible without getting involved with any other techy stuff?

I'm not technical in any way, so any responders please keep this brain deadly simple! Thanks!

In short no you cant region free for modchips is blocked on later system menu's.

You would need to install HBC and use the WODE Flow menu in order to play out of region games.

If you do this it will work.

That it has - and very easy to do as well - but the OP did ask for NON techy stuff so that is why Wiisel said "No" and left it at that

Installation of HBC is quicker and easier than actually installing the WODE.

Completely agree - but I remember back when I was too scared to install the HBC and thought it was "techy" so to speak. *fear of bricking*

I could not imagine a Wii without the HBC and now understanding the process realise it is not techy nor is it difficult to install and the risk... I say what risk when it comes to installing the HBC

Still - not ballsy enough to install the full soft mod of the Sweet looking Red Wii Theme via mtmenuify yet I understand it... Risk reward I guess.... Though that red Wii theme is worth almost worth the risk... Just have to read up on BootMii and PriiLoader and Nand backups etc.... (yep - not as simple as a HBC install)
