So, is WODE development officially dead? The past couple of updates have been nothing more than internal dual-layer lists updates. (Which, BTW, I think Xenoblade Chronicles (US) needs to be updated internally, because I'm having some issues with it and I think it might fix it.) Anyway, it has been a LONG time since any actual features or major improvements have been implemented, and I know a good number of things in that line have gone to the wayside. I understand the team are moving on to other things, but is WODE developement going to die about the same time as the Wii? Or is it already considered dead?

The harsh truth is the development pretty much died after TA left. TG has done a good job maintaining and adding in a few extra special bonuses but I see no further development. But I also personally do not really see any need for further development.

Admin mentioned they were making XODE... That seems to have gone no-where. Whether they could not make the Hardware OR whether they could not get another programmer like TA.. who knows

It was also mentioned that they were going to make a GC Audio Streaming firmware but that never eventuated....

What we all need to realise is: WODE does everything it needs to... Whaat else (other than GC Audio Streaming) support is required??? Actually - maybe them fixing the Wifi support and moving frlom exclusively in the 2.2E beta (unless that was already done).

But yes, I think the only two things people want are GC Audio Stremaing or better Wifi Support - after all, people did PAY for the dongles.

My guess is there will only be maintenance and adding of DualLayer game ID's... But that is not really needed as we do have the duallayer.list file.

So there will be no future updates to the firmware?
Or did he leave back the sourcecode so someone else will do the job?

TG has the source code - hence he has made updates as I stated above.

There is little to no chance for any update unless there is compatability issues (not fact, just my thoughts / opinion)

Most people do not need an update as WODE does all that it needs to but as per above - others would like a few extras.... But not likely
