What is the actual height to the top of the Wii as it sits in the Wode at the highest point? Not sure if it will fit in my shelf vertically.

I've got just about 8" from base to the front top tip of the Wii. About another 1.5" with the wireless gamecube controller plugged into slot 1.

If height is an issue you can always use GC extention cords and even trim the to L-shape or remove the wavebird casing.

Good ideas, thanks.

OK, now I HAVE TO ask. What's all that "stuff" attached to your console? :o

USBgecko, SDgecko, GC memory and a official wavebird receiver stripped down and a Pelican stand housing just the wode lcd, eventually the wavebird receiver will be inside the stand along with a hub 2.5 drive. I may even port everything to the front of the stand including GC slots and a card reader.

Now I've got to ask... What is the difference between the SD and the USB Gecko?

SDgecko is a SD adapter that can be used to launch homebrew on the GC side dump games and also be used for wii homebrew.

USBgecko connects PC to Wii/GC with this you can output debug info to a terminal load data to and from the Wii take screenshots and hack games, dump and much more.

Heres a great vid by Foxx on ram hacking with a USBgecko http://www.bsodtv.org/node/21

USB http://www.ozmodchips.com/usb-gecko-hom ... p-103.html

cheaper sdgecko alternative

Wiisel: Did you make the base to put it vertical in? I would so like one of those, if i put it vertically like it is now, it will be off balance.
