Game Name resident evil archives

Under 1.21 it would load disk and displays logo etc - when starting would get blank screen on TV

Edit by Zephyr: Old Wii firmware - likely needs to update to play as IOS files could be missing

Wii Region: PAL Euro U.K
Wii FW Version 4.1E
Wode Firmware Version 1.15
Updates - no Tried on yes also
Autoboot - off

No More Heroes ntsc original Wii disc not working in flat mode, updates on or off. Regions Eur, U.S or set to off. Wii screen set to 50Hz and 60Hz. Title appears but get Black screen after pressing start.
Mario Super Sluggers (only released on ntsc) back up ISO on Hdd. Black screen after title and pushing start like No more Heroes above all combinations tried.

All other ISOs and original imorts tried worked okay.

Edit by Zephyr: Tested on 4.1E Wii. The game does not like loading on PAL system. Need HBC/Gecko for now

Edit by Zephyr: Will need TA to investigate to see if possible to fix

Location: Echuca, Victoria, Australia
Wii Region: PAL Australia
Wii FW Version 4.2E
Wode Firmware Version 1.21
Wode FPGA Version 1.20
Game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Game Region: NTSC-U
HDD Format: FAT32
Game Format: .wbfs files

I've managed to patch my System Menu with StartPatch, allowing me to play import games. I can successfully load a NTSC-U version of Metroid Prime Trilogy with no issues.
When I select SSBB via the Wode, the disc channel displays the logo, and allows me to press start. When I press 'Start Game', it loads a couple MB of data, then the screen displays "Please insert the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Game Disc".
The only way I have ever made SSBB work via the Wode is the following steps:
1. Turn region patching off in Wode
2. Select SSBB via the Wode
3. Load Gecko OS
4. In Gecko OS, go to Config, and set 'Force NTSC' to 'Yes'. Save settings.
5. In Gecko OS, Launch Game.
So it appears that it has something to do with the region. Any suggestions / advice?

Edit by Zephyr: Updating would have fixed this. However before updating (as the update was not available) bubblesnout did the following to fix:

No it is no longer an issue, however I solved it before I upgraded. I can't remember the exact steps, but I had to change the TV Mode of my Wii to 50Hz, then it loaded, but it looked nasty. Then in the SSBB options, I turned off deflicker. Then, I reset my Wii's TV Mode to 60Hz, loaded up SSBB, and it was all good. Give it a try, see if it helps.

Wii Region: US
Wii fw version: 4.1u
Wode fw version: 1.21
Wode fpga version: 1.20
Game name: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Game Region: US

HDD: ntfs with iso file.

Interesting that under Select Game, it shows 3/4 instead of 4/4. When selected SSBB, the wode shows running SSBB, but the Wii shows the following message:

Please insert the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Game Disc

Wode shows 315 Reads 9587KB

Perhaps a bad dump?

Wii fw version: 3.4E
Wode fw version: 1.21
Wode fpga version: 1.20
Game name: New super mario bros
Game Region: Unknown

Wode shows 11 Reads 15KB

I have the bca file called same as filename, i.e.

nsmb.iso
nsmb.bca

I have tried several different iso versions and loads of different bca files

i just get same error message that everyone else gets. There has been mention on here about WODE reporting the bca file is being accessed. nothing like that on mine. looks same loading to me as others.

I get same issue with Smash bros brawl and Sing it. all other isos run without a problem.

@WODE developers : Good work tho all, an unbelievable achievement so far. loads more to come i suspect.

Binarysi

:)

Edit by Zephyr: If you se the correct BCA file with a CLEAN iso file or Patch the Clean ISO file correctly you will have no issues
