I also have probelms getting any of the original disks to work correctly since we put the Wode on.

That plus your ripping issues may be an indicator of physical interference with the DVD drive and the WODE. Try disassembling the Wii to the point of loosening the 4 DVD mounting screws, so the drive is laying loosely in the case, and try running some problem originals that way.

1. DvDx no longer works on 4.3. Remove it from your APPS folder on your SD card
2. No, WodeFlow does not need you to install anything. Simply add it to the APPS folder on your SD card and away you go.

1. Download this Wode Flow Version: http://www.mediafire.com/?gmwc2fxl4yy
2. Rename it to boot.dol
3. Download the attachment in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2854&p=26777#p26777 (also attached to this post for convenience)
4. Create a folder on your SD card called APPS (skip this step if it exists already)
5. Create a folder in APPS called wodeflow
6. Place the boot.dol from step 2 into the wodeflow folder
7. Open the downloaded file from step 3 and save the meta.xmla and icon.png file into the wodeflow folder like you did the boot.dol file in step 6
8. Place the SD Card into the Wii.
9. On the WODE LCD go to Settings
10. Select WODE Settings
11. Change AutoLoad to show CFG
12. Press LEFT on the LCD to go back a screen
13. SAVE
14. Turn the Wii off and On
15. A gamecube icon will appear in the disc channel - do nothing
- wait for the HDD to initialise
16. Start the HBC
17. Select Wode Flow and click Load
18. You will see your games but without covers
- If you do not - then point wiimote at screen, click setup / the cogs picture, go to page 7 and change the first setting to read sda1 (or something like that). Press B and you should see your games.

You can download game covers from one of the first few pages of the setup screen you were just in but it can cause issues too - but also never hurts to try

For more details explanation on how to use WiiDB to get covers:

Take a read of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2771. You can download the covers in WodeFlow but if it errors you will end up with a corrupt cover and cache file. If that happens then you have to manually search the SD card for the corrupt cover. It will be in SD Root:\wodeflow\boxcovers or SD Root:\wodeflow\covers and then delete the same file in SD Root:\wodeflow\cache.

It does not hurt to try the download from within WodeFlow. Where you see the game point the Wiimote at the top or the bottom of the screen. A menu should appear click either setup or the cogs picture. Then go through the menu until you see the option to download covers and click on it.

I followed all these directions and it work flawless but it did not install it as a channel. every time I want to use the wodeflow i have to start the HBC .... is there any way to install this as a channel

Yes it can be installed as a channel. I answered such a post within the last 2 days with links to the channels and how to install them. I am on an iPhone at the moment so can't provide links but a few quick searches will find you your answers. Even reading some of the latest posts without searching.

WiiJohn made them. They are toy story theme so even search in that

The post was on the first page of the homebrew forum where you made this post....: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3406&p=30818#p30818

P.s. Next time just link the post you uses rather than posting the post again :) and finally that post you copied and pasted was not meant to install it as a channel. That was not my intention when creating that post

Thanks Zephyer for directing yet another search Moron to this thread!! I have upgraded HBC to 1.08 via auto update, went to the wii store and let the Wii upgrade to 4.3u. I have downloaded the wodeflow r8 (r9 is expermental) re-named to boot.dol & copied it to the wodeflow folder I created in the apps folder along with the icon.ping and meta.xml files. I inserted the sd card into the Wii set the wode to autoload cfg (it was allready set that way but I re-chose and saved it anyway) turned the Wii off and on again but i never see the game cube in the disk channel and the WODE screen reads WODE Config ISO 2 reads 8 KBs I waited 5 min before trying to start the HBC, once I do I see wodeflow and select load but it hangs on the splash screen with the picture of the hard drive It never shows my games covers or coverless. Should I be using the R9 expermental release?

You never mentioned what writing was on the splash screen when you start WodeFlow. But my guess is you do not have the correct META.XML file.

WodeFlow will sit at "Please Wait" for some time then error with -1 wode not found if you did not modify your meta.xml to have <no_ios_reload/> directly above the </app> tag.

OR visit this thread and download the meta.xml file from within it and use that one: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3049&p=28128#p28128

P.s. It is strange that you never see the GC Icon in the Wii Disc Channel even though it is clearly started on the WODE.

Also - if you have out of region games I recommend that you set WODE to be: Region Patch: ON and Updates: NO. The reason for the region patch being on is if you play an out of region game from wodeflow when you finish and go back to the Main Wii System Menu the game will still stay loaded on the WODE even though it does not appear in the Wii Disc Channel. With it OFF you will get "Region Mismatch" on the WODE LCD and then have to manually mount / select another image to use WodeFlow again.

Well I played with this quite a wile Saturday night trying 2 different SD cards wodeflow V8 and V9 and different downloads of the META.XML files. I finally decided to put it down..... until just now..... My 12 year old wanted to play a game..."Daddy why isn't wodeflow working??????" "SH%&.. Ok honey let me see if I can fix it"..........I started the HBC and no Wodeflow showed. I checked the SD slot in the WII. Oops, I hadent installed the SD card in the Wii (I had left it empty from all the switching SD cards on Saturday night when I decided to give it a rest) I powered down the Wii inserted one of the SD cards I was using (I'm not sure if Im running Wodeflow 8 or 9 at this point) and It worked !!Wodeflow loaded (No Covers) I have no explnation why other than I tried to run Wodeflow WO the SD card inserted. I tryed to download covers and got a no Internet connection available message. I backed out to Wii Menu>settings and checked internet settings (I was using a wired USB dongle) I switched to a Wireless connection Got connectivity and the cover art downlowded It took 30 minutes for 32 covers via wireless. Next I went to the Wii store and downloaded the new Netflix app (that's what started all this) it downloaded and works!! I can now browse netflix see my Que and it has a serch function WOOHOO!! the only thing I havent tried yet is to get my Wired USB adaptor working again. Are there any issues with Wired ethernet on 4.3u?
Its working on wireless and shes gaming now. Is there an issue with 4.3u and my wired USB dongle ?

Thanks everybody (Zephyr) for the support
