... the elite is interesting enough, but I don't see the need.
I'll tell you what though. having seen the elite gives me a few ideas. The wode base has tons of wasted internal space. Right now I have a powered hub and an exHDD with Velcro on the side of my Wii. I could cut away a small part of the wode base to make a semi-permanent internal mount for my powered hub. I'd have to run the power cable out the back and run the usb cable inside the wode and out a small whole to connect to the wode's usb port, effectively making 4 ports directly in the wode's base instead of 1. It would look a lot prettier then my current set-up.
