Wode Jukebox

Hi Everyone,

After a very long weekend we have finished our Wode Jukebox installation video for our customers and the community, it’s a 27min video that covers almost all the aspects of the install, with a couple of our own tips for certain sections.

You can download the video from our Wode Jukebox page on our website, just click on the "Buy Wii Wode Jukebox" link in our signature below and it will take you to our Wode page, the download buttons for the videos are at the bottom of the page, there are two versions of the video, one med res which is 170mb and another high res version which is 284mb, just remember to right click on the download button and select “Save As” because they are up as video files at the moment and some browsers will just start them in WMP instead of letting you save the file, think we are going to re-upload in zip format in the next couple of days.

We hope the install video will be of use to you all, we all worked very hard all weekend to produce this one, might only be a 27min video, but took over 20hrs of work to put it together.

We have just managed to finish the editing and uploading for the installation videos on YouTube, below are the links for the three different parts of the video, note you can watch them in SD or HD as we uploaded them as HD videos, comes up pretty nice in HD.

That was Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey (11:43 into the video). Half full or half empty depending on how you look at it.

lol, we were going to make a joke about that, see who was the first to see the guest appearance from our mate Jack. I have to take responsibility for that one, but honestly officer it was only my first drink

Thanks for the nice comments, as I said we really did work very hard on this to tried and make the best possible video that covered parts that could cause people trouble so they could avoid any damage during and after install.

Should be able to get the video up on YouTube on the weekend and will post links in this thread, also may be able to lower the size of the hi-res video, as we had to rush that one and use a higher kbit audio because the lower one was giving us grief, so should be able to drop 20mb to 30mb off the size when we re-encode it.

in the vid it looks like the tape on the wode base covers the business end of the ribbon cable is that the case? as i can see gunk causing connection issues.

Yes that was the case, the sticky tape did cover the pins on the ribbon cable, might be an idea to wipe over the pins with some form of Alcohol, and no I don’t mean Jack Daniels.

Ours worked fine after just taking the tape off, but yeah there might be some residue left over the pins, electronic places sell contact cleaner that could be used too.
