hi,

I have a share created on a windows 2008 r2 server for the iso's

but the wode can't connect to the share.

I see in the log of windows unkown user or password. but i'm sure it's the right username an password.

Does anyone have a tip how to access the windows share?

When i create a share on my qnap nas with the same user and password it works, but i wan't to connect to the windows server.

kind regards
Erwin

Are you using the WODE 2.2e (I think that is what it is) firmware as that is the only firmware with network support. Also, you need the WODE wifi dongle and then o configure it to see your network

The wode is connected by a usb lan adapter.

One of the lan adapters in the topic with adapaters that's work with the wode.

I can ping from my laptop the wode.

And i see also on the server a login, but in the event log i see wrong username/password.

I have also tryed with @ so the username is wii@domain.local without succes.

other options?

hm well try user@domain instead of user@domain.local i guess it has something to do with domain authentification, especially if it outputs wrong user/pass... Other than that I'm a bit at loss. Can't reproduce that behaviour due to the lack of Windows Servers around here. Maybe search for incompatibilities between cifsclient and windows server 2008 shares around the net a bit.

Well, better not complain :-)... just for the record - what did you finally put into your smbclient.conf?

I use the latest firmware

smbclient.conf:

username="wii"
password="wii"
ip="192.168.0.63"
share="wii"
pause=2

network:

config interface lan
option ifname eth0
option hostname Wode
option proto dhcp

Static ip doesn't work......

I have als recreate the file share en put the user rights on the folder.

kind regards
